Busking - Royalties

Hi All,

I’m looking to go busking for charity but I’m unclear as to what the legalities are in the UK around public use of backing tracks or indeed music tracks. Is there any advice anyone can give to keep me the right side of the law, or indeed if there are any apps I can use that cover the royalty issues.

If anybody wants royalties for someone who’s busking for charity, I think they should be hanged. :wink:
