I have just recently purchased a hohner pro harp, I have taken the covers off to expose the replates. I noticed that they are only two replate screws yet there are five holes for the replate screws. And was just wondering with this instrument having a plastic cone dose this mean there are some screws missing.
Nah! If it plays, play it.
Many harmonicas have more fastener holes than needed.
The same plate goes on different model combs…soooo
sometimes when you get a more expensive harp, you’re
just paying for the different comb and covers. Sometimes
this makes a big difference in tone and comfort, and sometimes
it’s just a way to market a better profit margin.
