@PapaCurly I’m glad you got to experience that and I remember my first time being asked to play I was also so nervous. It was for the band I’m in now, but at the time I was just the roadie. I was very nervous they told me to play something. I was like what? Just anything so I remembered a Jizzy Smith video I had seen so I played that which lead to a really cool jam session. The band leader told me we were going into the studio in a couple of days to listen to a certain song and play something I thought would fit. At the next rehearsal before the studio I played what I thought could work and he told me I would be doing that in the studio and the rest is history I’ve been playing with the band now for about 2 years. I hope you have many more great jams sessions.

Yours is great story, I can’t even imagine being a regular member of a band.

Your not an imposter think of yourself as beginning musician and keep up the hard work, but mostly enjoy playing that’s what it’s all about at least for me.
