One harmonica - Which key?

I get learning on a C, but if you could only have one harmonica which key would you choose and why?

I’m a noobie, but I like lower tone of A and think a lot can be done it that key.

If you play by yourself, it doesn’t matter what key. But if you play with others, you will need to play in a mutually agreed key. It might be the vocalist’s range or the guitarist’s preference (they like E and don’t like F in my experience) that drives what key you play a song in. I use my A harp a lot - mainly because the guitarists like E, the vocalist is happiest in D and E, and second position for E utilises an A harp. So I’d recommend an A.

If I’m not playing to a track and am just playing for my own amusement A is the key I’m most likely to pick.
