Rocket Key Labels

Hi all, I have two rocket amps and the key labels on both have rubbed off. Because of the way I hold them and because it’s summer now in Oz, my hands get a bit sweaty. Maybe there’s something to be said for the special 20 engraved labels that most players dislike. Don’t tell Luke I said that, he’ll dock me half a star. I’m disappointed because I love my rockets. Has anyone else had that problem, or more importantly, has anyone painted or engraved a new label on a harmonica. I’d be grateful for any suggestions for the best way to do it.

I buy these dayglow stickers off Amazon, very cheap for 100, then I stick them on get some waterproof modelling varnish go over them overlapping the sticker so I know no moisture will get in. The advantage of them being dayglow I can see them in the dark. I usually get Luminous green

@PapaCurly I doc you half a star! Nah, just joking. I’ve experimented with lots of key labels, and these are the ones that I’ve found I can see best in dark clubs with my old-ass eyes:

Well worth $20!

Mine are on the side because of my case orientation, but if you have a different orientation you could also put them on the front or back or top.
Hope that helps. Rock on! :sunglasses:

@Luke @Andy2 Thank You for the suggestions. I hadn’t thought much about stick on labels, probably because of those awful paper ones that are on the Hohner cases. I hadn’t realised there were better ones. That will be the easiest way.
