Sitting in - turned into a regular gig

I was invited back for another gig. The manager will be booking us as a duo in the future.
This is from last night.
It doesn’t have the background noise, so it’s a much more pleasant listening experience.
I’m playing through a shure SM58 mic through the PA.
I’ve never played most of these songs and some of them I had never heard. LJ would just shout out the key and start playing.
There’s a playlist on YouTube of 15 songs from that night.

Congrats @stevenlois1 on landing a gig! LJ has a nice voice too! You guys sound great!

I do wish on a song like Pride and Joy that you’d play the -3’ instead of always the -3. It would sound I think more appropriate as to what the vocal melody is singing much blusier - not so happy sounding as the regular -3 that you’re playing.

How are you feeling about your bending? Are you able to get -4’? -3’ ? -2"?

Is bending a struggle?

I’m glad that you picked up on me making it a happy song. Read the lyrics, there’s nothing bluesy about them.

I am married fifty three years to my pride and joy and she makes me the happiest man in the world.

Great job to both of you and thanks for sharing . I enjoyed it
