Straight versus Cross

@michaelkallio09 Welcome to the forum my friend! Can you please elaborate on what definition of cross-harp you came across? I’ve never heard of any other than it being another word for 2nd position, meaning playing your C harmonica for a song in the key of G

The subject of positions is so confusing at the beginning. All it refers to is what key song you’re playing along with. Learning the scale of each position will help give you a framework for each position and is worth the time, especially for 1st and 2nd position which are the most frequently played positions.
