The Best Harmonica Holder

I’m going for the Gecko, Thanks Luke.

OK, as long as your harmonicas are magnetic, it’s a great choice! And it’s compatible with the Rockit2.0 and Dyna-Mic mics if you ever end up wanting to invest in one of them. Rock on! :sunglasses:

Hi Luke, I had a harp arm with a magnet and all my harps worked it. They are Hohner.
Thanks

The Hohner Blues Band along with marine band and hohner blues harp work just fine with the magnet, even a jambone FYI,

The Gecko came in yesterday and, within 15 min I was playing harp like I had always wanted to. When you first look at it and, start doing some adjustments it becomes very clear what you have in your hands. A well thought out engineered piece of gear. When I think about and, look at all the different setups and, gear that I’ve had and, tried and, then look at this Gecko I think why didn’t I seriously look at one of these sooner? Was it the cost or was it the first piece of gear, a cheapo harp neck rack that I didn’t like and, almost made me give up?

I went through the same process of trying different slides for guitar and, chin and, shoulder rests on my fiddle. Just goes to show how different each one of are physically. I am not the best harp player out there but, with all the setups and, gear I went through I was starting to become very discouraged and, almost gave it up, I’m sure glad I didn’t. I don’t read music or use any tablature it just flows from improvising. I know what I want to hear and, I let it flow, same for guitar.
Yes, the Gecko is pricy but, you get what you pay for. In my plus 50yrs of playing music I’ve found this to be quite true. Get what you want and, need you’ll be happier and, your performances will definitely improve! Concentrate on the performance not the gear. A musicians talent and, the right gear is what takes you where you want to go!
Again Thanks Luke,
