Another Ringtone

I get a kick out making my own ringtones. Heres another one I thought I’d share here:

Let me know what you think!

I make these with my phone, so not the best audio. If anyone else wants to do this, record a 40 second audio clip, which can then be used as a ringtone.

You’ve got cool throat vibrato and growl effect. I think this can be even better if You will record it with better microphone. Any stereo handy recorder available on the market from $120 up to $150 will be pretty good.

Nice one! I like the concept of bringing ringtones back as “your own”

I like it too. I have different tunes for different favourite contacts so I know who’s calling. You can have a lot of fun matching the tune to the person. My son’s is an actual recording of a howling wolf available for a donation from the WWF.

About ringtones. From couple of years i’m using same key for same groups of contacts. E major: for family, A major: co-workers, Bb: friends, C: others, and G: special key for my wife. I’m changing tunes, but keys are preserved. This is good ear training.

Cool. I love that. I do it too, but just for my own phone.

This is mine since 2021 when I learnt the tune in B2B …

Sometimes though, if I’m playing the harp I don’t hear the phone ringing :joy:

@barry.bolton Sounds like an old cowboy tune - cool!

Thanks, very kind. It’s sort of based on this … https://youtu.be/s11BuatTuXk?si=yobHVeSFNnt2wvEu

He’s a bit better than me though😂

@barry.bolton We all have people just out reach of where we are. I personally would like to be able to play Minor Swing on diatonic like Will Wilde (cool recording btw). I have the skills, but not enough time to master this complex song. Same goes with Whammer Jammer.

I made my ringtone off a personal interpretation of what I always thought blues should sound like.

You did a very good job of it too …
