Any ideas why this sounds "wrong"?

Hi all! Currently trying to figure out how to do part 2 of Bach’s badinerie - I’m okay-ish at the first part but this one is giving me trouble

even if you don’t include the notes that need bending, it sounds “wrong”, any ideas?

it’s supposed to sound like in 1:16?

any ideas why it sounds weird?

Sorry mate classical not my strong point? What harmonica are you using?

C Diatonic

Could be they are both using Chromatic harps if you watch you can see them both stab the slide at the same time chromatic harps sound way different to Diatonic and I am not entirely certain but I think the player on the right is playing a counter point melody to the other a little further up the harp.

Hi all! After lots of “searching for tabs” I came to the “teach a man to fish” or whatever parable conclusion. Instead of being a “beggar for tabs/tutorials” I found a solution:

  1. Find the MIDI version of the song (luckily, due to 90’s ringtones and stuff these are very common, free and have a low file size)
  2. then Use a program to convert that midi into harmonica tabs (I won’t “advertise” which one I used), but there the trick is that since usually midi files contain many “channels” to turn them all off and find and enable just the 1 channel that has the notes you will be playing, and also use the “step up/step down feature.”
This way, you can pretty much have all the tabs you want for any song without relying on harptabs/youtube tutorials for a specific song, or whatever all you’ll need are the tabs, and of course the original song to compare it to. I shall return once I’m proficient and can play it all more or less correctly.
