Awesome lick, what is it?

Dear Harp players,

There is a video on harmonica.com with Carlos Romero. And there is one lick(riff,harp line,groove) … :slight_smile: which I would really love to learn. It is a blues-rockandroll type style.

It is a bit like Whammer Jammer, but not exactly.
Can I ask what is this line, what is it called, is there a tutorial for this?

I am learning songs and techniques so far only with lip pursing and I havent started tongue blocking yet. I guess I will need to start to learn tongue blocking for this style.

It is basically the bass line of "Stevie Ray - The House Is Rockin’ ", but with an extra wow. :slight_smile: Any idea how to do that?

He’s playing on a G harmonica and is tongue blocking:

-12 -12 -3’ -3 -14 -14 25 25 -25 -25 25 25 -14 -14 -3’ -3

So single notes it’d be

-2 -2 -3’ -3 -4 -4 5 5 -5 -5 5 5 -4 -4 3’ -3
