This is the only microphone I still need, would be the only non-vintage mike in my arsenal. Maybe later this year when my Social Security kicks in I’ll get one, or maybe the Heumann element in a custom wood shell.

I’d recommend going for the custom wood shell. I find the small volume knob on the bulletini to be akward.
It’s a very different sound from vintage mics as I’m sure you know. MUCH darker.

Alas, I saw another killer vintage harp mike and got that instead (details soon). As for “darker” or “fatter” I have some like that, old Shure crystal element in a Turner 250 and two of the 50,000 ohm Japanese mikes.
