I’ve just received my Bulletini mic from Greg Heumann, what an awesome product. I am by no means any authority on mics or playing harmonica but it sounds great.
I ran it through my old Fender Frontman 15 amp which was good. I then hooked it up to my Positive Grid Spark 2 and it was producing some fantastic results especially after playing with some of the presets and downloads.
Definitely worth a look if you’re considering a microphone.
I have been thinking about getting one myself but I have so many other microphones I haven’t used enough to see how I like them. I really like the Hohner HB52 harp blaster I have used it for several gigs. I also really like the Audix Fireball V especially if I’m singing and playing harmonica. I have also found some vintage microphones at the swap meet that I have yet to try out, so lots of microphones to work with before getting any others.
@Luke Hey thanks for the reply I was wondering about that, the clips I’ve listened to kinda made me feel like the tone was darker on the Bulletini. What about the Jason Ricci mic what do you think of it.
@Moman Yeah the Bulletini is so dark. I love the Jason Ricci - tone wise it’s fairly similar to the HB52 - a little more compressed sound, but the reason I love it so much is because of the shape and positioning of the volume knob I find to be super comfy and intuitive.
@Luke Thanks good to know I really like the HB52 and also the Audix Fireball V if I’m singing and playing harmonica. I will possibly pick up a Jason Ricci mic some day to see how it works.
