Changing scales with chord changes

So I have a question about soloing, or let me rephrase that, questions!! I use to play mandolin and I used moveable pentatonic scales for soloing. So if I was on a G chord I’d use the G pent, if C chord then the C pentatonic etc… How do people solo on harp? I know my major scale and the blues scale…I’m not sure how to approach soloing on this instrument as compared to fiddle/mandolin. I know to start simple and all that but I’d really like to know more about how to approach a solo in a song that uses more than the 1/4/5 scales. What do I do outside of this chords?
