Chromatic Harmonica Gnossienne No1 cover

Hi everyone! I started playing the chromatic harmonica (alongside the diatonic) two months ago, and I’ve just finished recording and editing a cover of Gnossienne No. 1 , a piece by Erik Satie (a French composer—though I’m not sure how well-known he is in the U.S.). We rearranged it to perform as a duet with my friend who plays piano. It’s a big step for me, and that’s why I’d love to share it with you. I’d be happy to hear any advice to improve my playing, or suggestions for other pieces we could try as a duo. Hope you enjoy it! https://youtu.be/uNqayS01rzo?feature=shared

Well you nailed that! Beautiful. Really suits the instrument.
I play along to this. Maybe your friend can do piano and you do cello part. ? ‎Lullaby – Song by Beyond the Lake – Apple Music

@toogdog @mauraulucien

Cool to have other chromatic players here! - I will take a listen later.

I am working on Bluesette by Toots Theilmans. I have only been playing Chromatic maybe 6 months, but its definitely challenging.

@mauraulucien wow fantastic! Nice video quality as well. I love Erik Satie! He’s very well known in the States (among people who like modern classical music.) Thanks for sharing this. Awesome. Rock on! :sunglasses:
