I found this harp in a garage sale a while ago and recently found it in one of my drawers. Is there any value to these?
Chatgpt says “The Hohner Chromonika II was produced from the late 1930s through the mid-1950s. This model was a part of Hohner’s line of chromatic harmonicas and was known for its distinct design and quality craftsmanship.”
As far as value, it’s seems immaculate and case is as well. But it’s worth what someone is willing to pay, and I suspect that is well under $100.
I read the star on the rear cover was removed before the war to distance themselves from any social political controversy, before they switched manufacturing to detonators.
Thanks so much for the information. It is really in good shape considering the year
