Any tips on cleaning the comb?
I like plastic combs and use alcohol to clean my harps. makes things much easier and keeping the comb flat is not an issue.
If it’s really dirty, I would suggest using a dry tooth brush, however I not entirely sure if this is true maybe fellow members can enlighten but I’m told that these pearwood combs are now sealed with a thin varnish so they are water proof so you might get away with a light spray of water or surgical spirit. I know the tone is entirely different but I do prefer plastic just for the ease of cleaning.
