I’ve got very small hands, and trying to get a cup I actually like that sounds cool has been a trial and error process especially as to get the tone I like I play the harp at odd angles, I was wondering what ways have members here found for various effects etc. I was watching some Old footage of Sonny Boy Williamson II and he seemed to be using umpteen hand techniques some of these I believe were to bamboozle other harp players because I’ve tried some of them and they don’t make much discernable difference. But there was this one technique were he cupped not fully but he sort of rolled his fingers, I’ve tried that one and I love it, it seems to make my cup more expressive. Any thoughts, ideas, anybody out there with small hands who has had this problem?
