@Luke Is it just me, or the First 50 songs you should play on harmonica are incredibly fast?
I tried but, I get lost in a few beats even in the very first songs.

Stefano I played Moon River a few months ago and it sure helps with rhythm. A great song for the harp and it forces a player to slow down and move around on the harp. Never thought about it until my son’s wife watched the movie.
If you are wanting to sharpen your draw notes try Yellow Rose of Texas or El Condor Pasa. The latter is one that takes time to learn but once you do the high draws are just another note. It will take some time to learn but it sure helped me.
Thanks Scott, I’ll give them a try. Any good tabs to suggest?

What are these first 50 songs? Is it a list somewhere on the forum?
It’s a list of songs that @Luke made and plays for us in a video.
@Stefano yeah the video is not really meant to be played along with, but rather is like a sampler to see/hear songs in your ability level that might be fun to learn.
But in order to have the video not be suuuuuuper long it’s just little snippets of each song. So more of a video to inspire ideas about good songs to work on rather than a lesson teaching how to play the songs.
LMK if you have any other questions on this?
Yes
U Tube has them all. El Condor Pasa is a tough one to get into memory but its worth the effort. Moon River is a very well know song and fits the harp well. Yellow Rose Of Texas does as well but its primarily draws, which I fought at the get go but given I live in Texas not knowing this song could cost me my citizenship,
@Luke The thing is, I like the way your tabs are. The little orange arrow helps me to keep up with you and the rhythm of the songs. I need time and practice to play them, just a beginner ![]()

Don’t forget you can slow down YouTube videos in the gear icon bottom right corner!! And some of the those songs I’ve done whole lessons on, so LMK the song I can maybe point you to a resource.
