Like the title says … what your favorite harmonica holder and what do you use ? I have 3 ELTONS like the ones Dylon and Neil Young use . Found 2 on Ebay and have my original from 1976
You might do a search though the topics, I seem to remember a few discussions on harmonica holders. By the way, welcome aboard the forum. Glad to have you here. Hope to hear a lot more from you, and your experience playing.

Thank you for the warm welcome my friend . I did introduce myself in the other post / thread topic . I’m a moderator at Gretsch-Talk under the same name . I’m still trying to navigate this forum but I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it
I’ve heard good things about that model .
I have one of these and, yes they are pricey but, far better than any other I have tried. As of late I have switched to a wireless headset mic and, with putting my guitar on with the strap, putting on the headset mic and, then doing the gecko harp holder, adding the harp holder is way too much gear to deal with so, I'm going back to holding the harp to play. The mic in the Shure headset unit picks up the harp very well. Although I will not sell the Gecko, I may end up using it again in another application.

Hi Terry , good thing I can read your post through my Email . This forum only allowed me to read up to : far better than any other I ha : ( I’m still navigating this forum ) Yes , not to downgrade anyone but the Gecko does seem quite cumbersome . That’s why I grabbed extra ELTON Holders off ebay . ( the Dylan / N. Young type ) Hard to find . have my original since 1976 . There nice and small / tight .
@thunder58 Yes the Sidenote over the years has become my favorite because it’s the least cumbersome and the easiest to take on and off and adjust. Works great for me.
