I know there are a number of harmonica festivals. But I only know about a few of them. Can we compile a list?
I only know of the FEN festival in Berlin and the annual SPAH convention
I tried to find one in Western Australia. It came up as a facebook post. Canât do facebook so couldnât look further. Maybe @PapaCurly could investigate them? Great idea for a list.
I have Facebook but I donât use it, drives me crazy. I found a harmonica club
âHarmonica Westâ but canât find a non-Facebook contact.
Yes, good idea to compile a list.
Also a must.
Great idea @Hogie.Harmonica the next one Iâm aware of stateside is Jerry Fierroâs one in Florida in late June, so Iâll start there:
Todd Parrottâs Carolina Fest is usually in October
SPAH is usually in August.
I think Grant Dermodyâs Blown Away on the Bayou in Louisiana is usually in October as well
Iâm sure thereâs some in the Pacific Northwest, but I donât know any details.
So glad you started this thread!

Does somebody go to Trossingen this year?
I have attended the Kerrville Folk Festival twice and there are several teachers and all good. I can get a bit warm but the quality of help and teaching makes it worth it. Food is great and the people very nice. First year Buddy green was an instructor and it was really nice to meet him and here him play. he can play it all and play it well. he gave me my first lesson. You would never know he is a world class player as he is aâ good ole boyâ from Georgia. Players of a skill levels are welcome.
