I always have an issue referring to the harmonica as a harp!
To me this is a harp

Yes some people called the harmonica a “mouth harp” because you can quickly blow an arpeggio by breathing across from hole 1 to hole 10 just the way you can quickly play an arpeggio on the harp by dragging your fingers across the strings.
That helped resolve some cognitive dissonance about it for me!

My neighbour is a classical harp player. Hearing her practice is a real treat
