Hello @Mister_Blow,
welcome to our forum.
Interesting username. Did you know that there used to be an artist with a band called Mr. Bloe (1970)?

Fun tune i used to play with a band called the blues symposium.
Not a blues tune i know, but hey.
Thanks again, nice first interaction.
Oh, hello again, @Mister_Blow, I like you already. Finally someone who knows Mr. Bloe
.
The song was the main reason why I started playing the harp about 2 1/2 years ago. The whole thing was interrupted for personal reasons, but it’s fun.
I dared to try the song about a year ago. I couldn’t wait! Of course I don’t have a band in the background and I didn’t have tabs either. I worked everything out and I don’t have enough practice in terms of playing speed, it’s not perfect. But it was a lot of fun! In a few years I’ll laugh about it and play it again…
I think you understand me
!
Yes, i get you. Its a good thing to learn the tune from tabs to start with, but in the end its about instinctive playing. And after you’ve played it a few times, you kind of know where your going. The same with most melodies i guess.
Full marks to you to be able to figure it out for yourself though, i was asked to play it and couldnt find tabs for it and had to work it out as well.
Do my tabs fit in with what you worked out? Its a good idea to play along with the original i think.
I like you too.
which country are you from? The song is known to very few people in Germany, apart from Great Britain of course. After all, it’s from the 70s and not blues.
Like few others here, I’m from Germany.
I’ll have to check whether I still have the tabs for this song. It could be because I first looked for the notes on the keyboard and only made brief notes. As I said, it’s certainly not perfect after such a short time.
If you want, listen to it:

I live in Cornwall, England. But i will be moving to Scotland soon.
I know the tune very well, i was 15 years old when it came out, and it was a favourite at our youth club. I must have heard it a thousand times.
It is in my head now, it wont go away.
Wonderful @Mister_Blow!
Then you also know the background of the song. Since it was on the B-side of the record, it is unfortunately hardly known.
You know it through your country. Many very good songs from
and
rarely make it across the pond or are not well received there. What a pity!
Welcome. That’s quite a move, not like going two towns over. Hope there are places to play wherever you’re going in Scotland.
