Greetings all, newbie here. I got a Hohner flex rack and I love it. My question is whether it’s OK to adjust it on the fly. I half tightened the knobs and it seemed to adjust pretty smoothly, but I’m worried about grinding the gears. Should I be tightening it down completely after each adjustment? Or is it made to adjust on the fly?

Hi @lemerson. Welcome to the forum! I’ve not used a rack yet, since I’m a novice harmonica player. So I can’t help you with that, but I wanted to send you a “welcome aboard”.

Welcome to the forum! Yeah, I like to try and loosen it up, get it into the proper position, and then get it really nice and tight so that it doesn’t “run away” from me.
