I have never used a forum or blog or anything like that before. I am pretty good at computers and used to teach people basic use and did some basic programming but I have no idea of the etiquette. I don’t use any social media.
My question is,
I have heard you can private message on these forums. Is that correct. So if you wanted to speak to only that one person not the world, how do you do that?
I do understand from the basic vibe that is not the purpose but it could come in handy at times.

I just checked if I can send you an email. That didn’t work because you don’t seem to have been approved for it yet.
You have to be active here in the forum for a certain amount of time. Don’t worry, it won’t be long before you’ll be notified.
Once you’re done, click on your profile picture. Here in the menu on the mail symbol and you can send personal messages.
