"I've Been Let Down" by Mazzy Star Tabbing Help 🙏

Hi everyone,

i’m trying to learn the harmonica parts to the song “I’ve Been Let Down” by Mazzy Star and I can’t find anything online about it, and i also couldn’t figure out how to play it based off the recording. If anyone could help me figure out the tabs for this song, it would be greatly appreciated.

Get a C harmonica. Draw in around 4 hole blow around 5 hole. 4 draw 4 blow. 3 blow 3 blow. Maybe. Sounds like the start to me. Then you need to just work it. Finding the key is crucial.

Ah shoot I just realized this is actually played on a G harmonica. Do you own a G harmonica?

Tysm!! Yes, I do own a G harmonica.

@emmamarss How the heck did I not know about this band? I’ve now listened to a few of their songs and love the music. A couple of tunes sound somewhat familiar, but I was unaware of the band name or song names. I’m grateful to you for bringing it to my attention.
I really enjoyed ‘fade into you’ and feel like its taught me something about playing harmonica. The singing is hauntingly beautiful. The way that girl appears to delight in holding notes, she seems to dissolve into the song. I’d like to translate some of that to my harmonica tunes.

PS I haven’t a clue how to answer your question sorry, but hopefully others have helped you.
