As many perhaps already know, the great Jon Gindick has passed away. I know that I would probably never have started to play the blues harp if it were not for him !! I will miss him greatly.

I did not know this sad news. I learned to play harp because I asked for and got “Country & Blues Harmonica for the Musically Hopeless as a Christmas present when I was 15. Jon was my first teacher and I’ve been happily playing ever since. I still have the cassette tape and the Pocket Pal harp that came with the book. I also ordered several of his additional lessons on tape. I’ll have to dig them up. Thanks for everything Jon!
