Joyo pedal

A friend of mine told me about his new pedal. A Jayo American. He also attends several open jams locally, and no longer carries a heavy amp. He can plug right into the P.A. i tried his and immediately ordered one of my own. It emulates an old fender sound. It sounded amazing! And if you close your eyes you can not tell the difference between the lone wolf version. One is 400$ the other is 40$. What do you think about the huge price difference with similar quality sound?

I have and use a Joyo. My thoughts are that it’s a no-brainer and, unless you have cash to burn, you are crazy not to get one.

I actually own the Joyo American Sound as my main distortion pedal, mainly for playing more aggressive rock and blues music. A lot of harmonica players who use distortion pedals love it too because it basically sounds like a Fender amp in a box. I personally like it because I usually play with vocal and all-purpose instrument mics, but I can use that pedal to give something like the Shure SM57 more of a crunchy sound when I use it with an amp and a impedence converter.
