This Saturday the 19th is the annual La Mesa Harp Fest, in San Diego California. I will be going for the first time I have been wanting to go for the last 2 years, but something always came up so I couldn’t go. They have a unknown players competition I’m not sure if I will enter the contest or not but can’t wait to hear some great players and music.

@Moman - I highly recommend that you joined the unknown players competition just for the experience of playing in front of people. It will make you grow in ways that nothing else can. Go for it!

Thanks Luke I’m in a band but play rock not blues but I really like blues music as well. I’ve never played blues in front of anyone before I will probably give it a shot and see how it goes, thanks for the encouragement.

Well unfortunately I wasn’t able to go to the harp fest. An in-law is sick and in hospice so my wife and I visited her instead and do what we could to help the family. I will keep my fingers crossed I can go next year.
