Can I put “A Major Diatonic” reed plates in a harp that was originally"G Major Diatonic"? I have a good G harp but also have one with bad reeds, thought I could get me a second key on the cheap… Thoughts? Thanks!!!

Hi @jrw74,
Yes you can do that. I have also done almost exactly that with a Lee Oskar that was originally in the key of A and substituted Lee Oskar reed plates in the key of Bb. So you should not have trouble with your planned change.
