This is for a song-style ala “Boardwalk.” I need a Low E. Any favorite harps out there for that style, easy, bluesy ballad?

My favorite for harps in keys below low F are the Seydel “Bold Body” models (they provide more room for those long, low reeds to play loudly without hitting the cover plstes), although Seydel also makes other models in that low range (the least expensive being the “Session Standard” with brass reeds).
I also really like my low D, low Eb and low E Hohner “Rocket” models.
I have not played the Hohner “Thunderbird” models, but among blues people they have a very good reputation.
Thank you!

I’ve got a Lee Oskar Lo E that does the job nicely

@Preacher_Blue I have to recommend the Joe Filisko designed Hohner Thunderbird. It is a great harp and is designed so that the low reeds don’t rattle on the cover plates.
