I happened to be on the Big Island of Hawaii for the past 7 days. As I was checking out the local music events in the Kailua-Kona area I noticed a band called Tomi Isobe and the Blue Dogs was performing at Gertrude’s Jazz Bar. As I looked closer at the band members photos I noticed one looked just like Luke. I immediately made a reservation and as luck would have it, Luke was sitting in. It was one of the best performances I’ve seen in a long time. Luke was crazy good one the harp. His talent level is off the charts. I was a true pleasure meeting him and chatting for a few minutes. By far the highlight of the trip. Thanks again Luke, You are a true inspiration.
