Hello, just found this site.
I have been wanting to get better than just being a almost non playing harmonica player.
Out of the 16 harmonicas I have, my Special 20 is my favorite although my Big River has a good sound too.
I’m a USN veteran, live in southeast New Mexico since 1980, married. Turning 72 in January.
Looking at these posts makes me wonder if this site is even active.

This is active forum, but it is small and things move slower here than other sites.
We have maybe a dozen or so truly active members, and I personally try to help other members whenever I can.

I may have a lot of harps, but I’m still learning. I haven’t really picked one up since I became a denture wearer, trying to get comfortable playing without my choppers. I think, THINK, I’m getting it. Haha
Putting my writing on hold for a while too. Playing my harps for me is more ‘funner’.

This is mostly a no bullshit sit. There is the occasional non harmonica chit chat in this section LOUNGE. We occasionally get a few people who can’t wait to tell us how much better they are at everything but for the most it’s people being helpful.
