I’m starting to make more covers on my Youtube channel. I really like to have some sort of structure whenever I play rather than just winging it to the same sounding 12-bar blues backing tracks. I’m not strictly a melody player, but I love it when I mix them with the blues like how some of my heroes have done.
Anyways, I found the backing track to this song yesterday and I felt like this would be a good song to play to as it’s a bit more bluesy and gives off that Terry McMillan vibe I like so much. This is mainly half-melody playing, half bluesy improvisation with a bad Terry Mc impression.
