I haven’t played much lately. I have been spending a lot more time on my Chromatic - Is there something fun to do with Chromatic to try to get back in the groove of playing again?
I am trying to learn all the scales (I got most of them!) , and I take a Jazz slant with Chromatic.

Rob Paparazzi told me he usually likes to start people on chromatic with Manha de Carnival (from Black Orpheus) because it only has one accidental.

I have never heard of it before. I have been leaning into old Jazz standards. It’s hard but fun.
This is one of the best numbers out there for chromatic players to get going in jazz. If you’ve never heard of it, it is about time that you start listening to it. So many jazz musicians play it.
