Numbers on harp labels?

Can someone please explain to me what before the slash mean? Yeah the /20 /40 and so on are obvious. I’m assuming understanding will help in making choices for purchasing, or even decide which harp is better suited for what or how I’m going to play. Thanks

Good Morning @stonestone63,:sunny::smiley:
I think this is used to denote the number of holes in a harp. There are not only the typical diatonic 10 hole harps. But also tremolo and chromatic harps. :woman_shrugging:
Let’s see what our specialists write about it.

The numbers after the slash are how many single notes it has, not counting bends. It’s the numbers before the slash I wish to understand. I can’t wait to find out.

I just realised that it is probably just a serial number. :crazy_face:
