One Man Banding

Hi Luke,

I really enjoyed the entire course. I was wondering if you had any course planned for more one man banding tunes? I really like that section as well. thanks. Kamel

@kamelhamoudi7 I’m new to this as well. I started around March. Luke’s course is my favorite. Now I’m working through Will Wilde’s Blues course. This is really helpful with rhythm and breaking theory down. I haven’t found anything yet for more one man banding. One of the things I like about both these courses are their lifetime membership. I’ve looked at some others that I find really compelling, such as Indiara Sfair’s course, but these have one year access. But let’s both be sure to post if we find other good resources!

Doc, I finished Luke course months ago and I did JP blues course afterwards. Great learning too. The only thing I can be critical off is the duration of the video. Now, I have purchased all the videos from Ed Hopwood. He has a YouTube channel. His website is the harmonica barge. I’m loving his courses tons of great material on bluegrass and country blues. Lots of great songs to learn. Many based on unique sound of Sonny Terry. I hope you can find your niche. Enjoy harpamigo🙏

@kamelhamoudi7 welcome to the forum! Are you doing tongue blocking stuff? If so this video is great and will get you pointed toward a whole world of good one-man-banding stuff.

And if you dig that, you might check out David Barrett’s course. Perhaps a little dry in presentation but FANTASTIC in content. Focused on Tongue-Blocking.

There’s some grooves here:

Joe Filisko has tons of resources. You might get some ideas looking thru this:

LMK if that’s helpful or if you have any further questions?
