So you’re using a neck rack? If so, then you definitely wanna check out the Racket 2.0:
I don’t like playing on a rack. I use a looper pedal on solo/duo gigs and then hold the mic. So if I need to cup the vocal mic a little bit in order to get the volume right, I can.
If I was playing in a trio, I’d probably just drop out on guitar and play the harmonica rather than play on a rack.
I’m thinking about picking up a Dyna-Mic at some point, and I know it’s inventor is working on some kind of rack for that which will be super-adjustable, so I’m not saying I’ll never play on a rack again. I’m open to it. But right now I rarely do!
I do use racks occasionally when I’m playing acoustic at church.
