Playing the Chromatic harmonica!

Mainly for fun and to experiment, I recently purchased a “budget-priced” chromatic harmonica. The biggest difference I am finding is that I can hit single notes more consistently than with the diatonic harmonicas - this in itself is pretty satisfying - but I need to work on getting the slider timing right. Given the chromatic scale nature of the instrument I can also play songs from my recorder and keyboard song books plus a large number of songs by ear. It’s by no means going to replace playing blues harmonica and I’m still working on learning songs from this website and improving techique but I’m pleased I got into it. Next step is to try Tremelo/Octave harmonica - again I found a cheap instrument to try it out on. Nice to have different things to learn! And the good thing about retirement is having time to do stuff
