I am into my second year learning here and keep getting stuck on something. If anybody can provide some guidance, I would much appreciate it.
I have been given five songs to play at a gig tonight because the original harmonica player can’t make it, and I volunteered. Should I try to learn the verses or just plan to play background, filler music where it seems right? I am always struggling with this…should I learn the verse (which takes a heckuva lot of work for me) or just plan to fill into a song as if it were a backing track?
