Received a compliment

Today I was throwing out some trash when my neighbor, who is a sweet old Japanese lady is walking by. She stops and asks me what was the music she heard coming from my backyard. I told her it as me playing the harmonica. She said she liked and and to keep playing. It made me feel good. I was just playing to some music that is on my phone apple music playlist. Just thought I would share this.

That is very cool @Moman. A very similar thing happened to me.
Nothing like a bit of encouragement. Gives the old ego a nice boost eh!
Keep doing it and no doubt you will impress your neighbours even more over time.

AWESOME @Moman we’ve gotta take all the encouragement and inspiration we can get and hold onto it. Congrats my friend! Rock on! :sunglasses:

I was in northern France in July and just go to our rent a house in a small town. All of them looked the same. My wife and I were leaving and I thought I was closing our window on the way out. Turns out it was the next door home. I scared the guy but nothing happened. Next day I was playing a harp and the guy stood at the door and listened. Cannot say he liked or disliked it but he listened for a while and seemed intrigued. Perhaps he had hear Ain’t No Sunshine but could not determine where the song came from. We went to ear dinner and the same song was played and the young lady singing it was good. I was amazed how much social effect the U.S. has on other countries as almost all the music I heard was made in the U.S.A.

You may well be better than you think.
