Hello everyone ,
I just wanted to share something as it was not a few days ago @Dai and I were discussing JP Allen . I had known that JP was in a horrific fall a few years back and had lost 3 limbs , but my friend Dai had informed me in another thread not only that he was the founder of this forum , but also of his passing . Sad news indeed . But through JP’s struggles , I remember seeing a video of him after his accident . It was so encouraging to see him upbeat and positive . JP reminded me of Christopher Reeve who played Superman in 1978 . I admired C. Reeve for never giving up on himself after his accident in 1995 . Today I have 2 people I admire .
Harmonica playing and Harmonica people are a niche / neesh community . There’s really not many of us sad to say . Were unique .
I’m a member of SPAH and I just received my quarterly magazine . There’s a nice article remembering JP and I just wanted to share . Thank you JP for being a part of our community
