Seydel Solist Pro?

Hi everyone, does anyone have experience with the Seydel Blues Solist Pro harp? Asking since I have placed an order for one online as a backup harmonica in C, and was just looking on more thoughts/info on them because of the mixed reviews I could find. Is it a decent harp out of the box? Would it need some work? What is it comparable to? (I already have Hohner Blues Harps and SP20s, and I don’t have any experience working on harmonicas as I am just a few months in starting out) Much help is appreciated

This harp is probably not what you expect it to be. The note layout is NOT like a “typical” blues harp but is the same as a chromatic harmonica (only without the button to raise the pitch).

If you already play a chromatic harp then you will perhaps like it. Otherwise … good luck. I personally would not buy one. Instead I would go for a “true” chromatic.

@MC6 I’ve never tried one. Sorry I can’t help ya! Hope you love it. Rock on! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
