If anyone knows how to change username from system generated name any help would be appreciated

I can’t see an option for that on the account details update page but if anyone knows how to achieve it, it will be @Luke, so maybe an idea to tag him on the topic (which I’ve just done). :slight_smile:

Yes, you should be able to update your Forum info.
Go to “Preferences” in the top right menu and hit the pencil besides your Username to edit.
:bulb: Note: spaces are not allowed in Usernames but _ underscores are allowed.

@Luke there isn’t a pencil next to my username in my preferences. I’d like to update my username as well, but I’m not finding how to do that. Is that something that has changed since this thread originated?

EDIT: I just double checked. There is no pencil next to my name. Maybe because I already used it? I don’t think I can be of assistance after all. Sorry.

Hi. Pretty sure you can’t edit your user name. Delete your account and start a new one.

I was able to change mine, but maybe because I did it before I posted anything?
