Where are you from?

I’m not sure if this topic is allowed . If not , mods please remove

I thought it would be a nice idea to see where some folks are from . Perhaps we could exchange info for future meet ups , jam sessions , open mike nights and the like … Then we could PM another member if we desire to do so

I’ll go first - I live in Tappan , New York ( Rockland County )

Swansea Wales. If you’d like a get together with others on this forum or just Harmonica players in general there is always jitsi meet

Wouldn’t be a bad idea if this forum had an unofficial meet up using jitsi meet. I know that Harmonica UK have Friday morning meet up been on it once or twice.

I’m from Northeast Ohio, specifically Huron. If you don’t know where that is, it’s nearby one of the most famous amusement parks in the world, Cedar Point.

Lived my whole life in Baltimore County, Maryland, USA. Just moved to Baltimore City about a year ago. Not a bad place to start my Blues journey, I gotta say.

Hey, my mother’s side of the family is from Poland – maiden name was Czapski. Unfortunately, I have no information about the particular part of Poland (and all who knew that have now passed away).

Cool  The surname ending on -ski is a Polish surname for sure, mine also ending on -ski. I have a relatives in the U.S.A. but I don’t have a contact with them.

There was at least one famous Czapski, check it out the page of Wikipedia

Hunt Texas or what’s left of it. Flood on 7/4/25 got our post office and store. The store was over 90 years old and until 2024 the only store in Texas where you could do your banking, drink a long neck and eat without losing your seat.
