First practice amp, fly v3 vs katana mini?

Looking to pick up my first amp to practice with, definitely not for gigs. Just for home practice, and being able to use headphones would be a huge benefit. I plan on getting the HB-52 mic.

I see the black star fly v3 recommended, but the katana mini looks pretty good too. Both are in budget.

Any small battery amp recommendations between these (or others)?

I don’t play amped, but I have heard good things about pignose amps.

Those do seem to be popular, but they don’t have headphone jacks. I guess that wouldn’t be the end of the world. They are certainly more expensive.

Not sure if you’ve already pulled the trigger on this stuff, but if you’re getting a small digital amp, the Bulletini pairs really well!

This might be helpful?

I haven’t, I have plenty of time to get to the amp part of the blues course. The Bulletini does look good, but I haven’t seen may bad things said about the HB-52 and it’s significantly less than the bulletini.

But no, definitely not sure what to get heh.

I have a HB-52 and use it quite a bit at gigs and rehearsals. I also have the Audix fireball V and use it for gigs as well both are great microphones. I also have the Shaker Dynamic mic which I need to spend more time with but my initial thoughts are great for strait harmonica playing only no vocals(Audix is good for vocals/harmonica). I also have a Shaker Madcat I need to spend more time with oh man G.A.S is really bad lol. I have Several amps as well but really working with my Supro Delta King 12 right now and like it a lot. I would like to get a Bulletini as well as a Jason Ricci mic. Hope this helps @drew.kirkpatrick

look up NUX LITE OR MINI something like that. it’s a modelling amp so you have access to amps peddles etc from your phone. check out on YouTube to give you an idea.

I just received a bone daddy mic under 80$ shipped small enough to hold easly great tone and it is less likely to feed back. Look them up on Facebook
