Since I started playing the harmonica three months ago, I have a new best friend Lip Balm 
Just curious about what you guys use and if you have any suggestions (cocoa butter, coconut oil, vaseline etc.)

interesting bit of advice! for how long do you usually play?
I try to play everyday for about 30 minutes. I have to admit that a cold dry winter doesn’t help.
I usually play for around that amount, sometimes 40-60 minutes (not like every “minute” of that time but the overall practice), for me I found that remembering to wet your lips and also the areas your lips touch the harmonica is enough - but it may be person-dependent and you already probably already tried that. Either way, I’ll keep it in my mental checklist “for the future”
Yes I’m trying with water too, actually Richard Sleigh suggests that.
@Stefano - yeah it’s a must in a dry climate. Here’s a thread on it.

Pick a song you know and like. learn to play it and then listen to it. I feel the listening is as good a way to learn there is. Once you get closer and no longer need tabs play it over a back track. You will most likely play ahead of it or too fast but that is part of learning. Once you can play right over it then play it more amnd listen. I feel no matter the tune getting every aspect of playing it not as easy as it may seem. On a final note never quit. Play and practice as long as you are enjoying it, preferably on a daily basis.
One thing I feel is critical is learning to play good clean single notes, which are the foundation of learning and playing well. I use coconut oil as I live in a very dry climate and lip balm just did not do the trick. Gummed up.
